Grasshoppers? KJV?

 .v7 Thus hath the Lord God shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings. KJV

 Grasshoppers = locusts

What does this verse mean????

 ^{Proverbs 30:27} The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;

Lets Look at the New Living Translation...... 

The Sovereign Lord showed me a vision. I saw him preparing to send a vast swarm of locusts over the land. This was after the king’s share had been harvested from the fields and as the main crop was coming up. NLT

O.K. That makes a little more sense.

I've also heard that this reflects:

1. locust = demons
2. king's = Gog (if you trace it back to LXX)
3. and that this passage could be linked to Ezekiel 38,39 and Revelation 9:3,11
