  Name Change

• Daniel      "God is my Judge"       to   Belteshazzar :"Prince of bel"
• Hananiah "Beloved of the Lord"  to   Shadrach "Illuminaated by the Sun god"
• Mishael   "Who is a God"            to   Meshach "Who is like unto the moon god"
• Azariah    " The Lord is my help"  to  Abednego "servant of the god nego, a shining fire"

^v.6 Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:
^v.7 Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.

You can see how that must have hurt them to have there names changed and the meaning being a slap in the face of everything you were against.

• Head of Gold = Babylon empire
• Arms = Medes and Persians
• Belly = Greeks
• Legs = Romans (2 legs East and West, The roman empire was split)
• Ten Toes = The rebirthing of the Roman Empire

Revelation 17: The antichrist comes from one of the ten nations.

  ⁴⁸ Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon.

 Magi / Wise men

 ¹¹ There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;

 It is very possible that this is where we get the Magi/Wise men Mentioned in 

Matthew 2:1
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

 How did they know about the star, and the Birth of Jesus? 

They may have been brought up. and passed along the things Daniel taught them.

10 Horns   = 10 Nation

Little horn = The Anti-Christ

3 Horns uprooted = 3 Nations will be taken over immediately

The Antichrist

 ²⁵ And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.




he = The antichrist
They = The Jewish Nation 
a time and times and the dividing of time = 3 and 1/2 Years

Think to change the times and laws? 
Interesting to think about why would he want to change the times and laws?

Daniel's Prayer

1. Read Scripture (and understood it)
2. Prayed (sought the Face of God)
3. Heard from God (from the messenger Gabriel)

 ² In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 25:12
And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the Lord, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.

  ⁴ And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

²¹ Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
²² And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.

Seventy "Sevens"

The focus of the passage is on the Jews

This is an event that took place, but is also prophetic in that it will happen.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
²⁵ Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
²⁶ And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Jesus Christ The Messiah came and died not for himself but so that the world could be saved

²⁷ And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Verse 27 -  half way through the "seven" at 3 and 1/2 years the antichrist will cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease(Implying that he was alowing the Jews to resume animal sacrifices for thouse 3 and 1/2 years), and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

¹³ But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Is the Antichrist a Homosexual ?

 This passage does seem to indicate that.

 v.37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

Armageddon

⁴⁰ And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
⁴¹ He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
⁴² He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
⁴³ But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
⁴⁴ But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
⁴⁵ And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

¹⁵ Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Turn others "on" towards God, be an eternal Light bulb

 ³ And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. (KJV)

 ³ And the teachers and those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness (to uprightness and right standing with God) [shall give forth light] like the stars forever and ever. (AMP)
