I remember till this day that this was one of the first books that my mother taught out of when I first went into youth (while living in Caracaraí, RR [Brazil] ). My mother taught for a short while the youth Sunday School. Great Lesson, Great Memories.

Onesimus ran away from his master Philemon and ended up with Paul in (prison? not sure how Onesimus path crossed Paul's).

Paul leads Onesimus to Christ, Then writes letter back to Onesimus' master which is Paul's good friend. And the main flow of this letter is about Paul asking Philemon to accept Onesimus back as a brother in Christ.
