Water of purification

Ashes from a Red heifer

And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.

Bronze Serpent

**satan is often referred to as a serpent in the bible. Why then did God have Moses lift up a bronze serpent in the desert to “save” them from death?**

Serpent on the cross >>> Snake representing sin. We must see our sin in order to repent/believe. John 3:14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,. and 2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. So, when we think of the cross we are to see Jesus as the One who took our sin to the cross, when we "see" that, then we can repent/believe and be "healed" from certain death.
