The march around Jericho broke the Sabbath

Here is one to think about, I heard it briefly mentioned in a sermon: Did God tell the Israelites to "break" the 4th commandment (The Sabbath, keep it holy) when He told them to March around Jericho, and on the 7th day march around it 7times. v.4

• Levites in battle ?
• The Ark of the Lord in battle?
• Marching on Sabbath?

While we are on this topic let me point out that the observance of the Sabbath is for the Israelite.

Exodus 31:15-17
¹⁵ Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
¹⁶ Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
¹⁷ It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

 John 5:16-17

¹⁶ And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
